Finally caught one of those SUVs I've been chasing....would have been better if the guy hadn't locked the door preventing me from beating him.
If I whisper my wicked marching orders into the ether with no regard to where or how they may bear fruit, I am blameless should a broken spirit carry those orders out upon the innocent, for it was not my hand that took the action merely my lips which let slip their darkest wish. ~Daniel Devereaux 2011

I'm supposed to ask you about a beer--I can't remember the name-- I'll let you know when I remember and you can let me know if it's any good.

I played with my son -- but that's been every day for the past 9 months.

Unique to yesterday -- I drank some White Russians and posted some silly things on the Phillies board I frequent.

If you can't remember the name, it probably isn't that good. If you can't pronounce the name, it's probably amazing.

She has shared with me that she has no motivation for school, but last night she spent more than two hours doing homework. Her guidance counselor was able to ask about my daughter's faith and spoke to her on that level which made an impact on her.

OK, so yesterday at work was pretty good. have a collaborator in town, and i fully reduced a dataset to get a beautiful image of neptune and we talked about it. we have a student working for us for three months, so we're trying to educate her (it's more like drinking from a fire hose for her!). then when i got home i helped my younger son build an alien for his class project, where they have to design a new planet in the solar system and define all its characteristics, including life forms. right up my alley .

Bouncing my 11 month old Grandson (he in a red Cowboy hat) on my knee while singing the theme song from Bonanza.

While I was working on my laptop he figured out to crawl over to his Cowboy hat and then crawled over to me, struggled to put it up on the couch, pulled himself up and gave me a big smile...game on.
