    2) Journey outdraws Elton John 3-1.
    3) A drafter quits in a huff when the Grease soundtrack is ruled ineligible.
    4) ManCalledFoot selects Pablo Cruise, claims his account was hacked, but oddly declines to repick.
    5) In Round 6, DMT realizes he can't possibly select all the stone cold classics on his list, and starts lobbying to expand the draft to 50 rounds.
Only 1 act from your post made my very long list.

    • Welp, two of the four albums I would have considered had I drawn 1.01 are taken with the first two picks. I don't expect the other two to make it to me at 12 either. But I'll survive, my list is up to 49 artists (many with multiple albums).

Wow, I didn't know Pablo Cruise made an impact across the pond.

        • Hard to argue with that 1-2 punch ... LZIV and then Dark Side of the Moon.

            • DSOTM would have been my 1.01. And Overkill is right, that Classic Albums series is great, well worth checking out. DSOTM is probably the best episode - it delves into all kinds of interesting minutiae about how they collected all the snippets of dialog, how the female vocal on The Great Gig In The Sky was developed, how they got the cool synth sound on On The Run, etc. Awesome geek stuff.

              • Has Chancellor done a music draft before? I don't recall him being in one. He's a total wildcard to me.

The 1982 edition of the Rolling Stone Record Guide called Pablo Cruise "worse than Journey." Journey was not liked by rock critics of the day.

I have never quite understood what it takes to become a rock music critic?

                      • Well done lads... my Top 2 as well, Dark Side would have been #1.

Pablo Cruise wasn't that bad... not that I ever owned anything, but I always liked the guitar break in "Whatcha Gonna Do" at 1:50:

One martini, two martini, three martini, floor.

He has. Sneaky good. Watch him.

But he may not know about the early start... has anyone PM'ed him?

Video not available in my territory ... that's racialistic.

                              Cool movie, cool scene.
