  • Yay for Pogues!
If DMT didn't exist we would have to invent it. There has to be a weirdest thing. Once we have the concept weird, there has to be a weirdest thing. And DMT is simply it.

Bullshit is everywhere. - George Carlin (& Jon Stewart)

    • I didn't like 'Plastic Ono Band' that much when I was a kid, it was so harsh and uncompromising, with no sweeteners like the Beatles used to do. I think it takes an adult to really appreciate it. It was John's nastiest period, he was really lashing out at everything during that time.

      • Michael Jackson's Off the Wall is really in a lot of ways a first-rounder that fell, so that's a great pick from Erik.

            • OMG, will Friarfan have to take something from before 1977?

                  • Master of Reality was definitely on my list - easily one of the heaviest albums of all-time with some absolute crushers like "Sweet Leaf", "Into the Void", and "Children of the Grave" along with one of the most strangely satisfying tracks in their canon:

                    • So DMT makes one pick and disappears?? Does he remember he's at the turn?

Yep. 'B-52s' is a must-have. My list is getting hammered.

                        • Hemispheres was going to be my Rush album as well - it was one of my go-to study albums in college

                          • The B52's was on my list, but was not realistically expecting it to fall.

Song In The Key Of Life on the other hand was right near the top of my list. Great pick in the 6th.

                              • I pondered Songs in the Key of Life when I took Off the Wall. The tiebreaker was that it was a favorite album of my first wife, and obviously she is no longer a favorite of mine.
