I always buy used phones usually < $200.
This is the point where Elds head would completely explode. I also dont have an issue with what Chaffetz has said.
It is wrong and ultimately self-defeating for a nation of immigrants to permit the kind of abuse of our immigration laws we have seen in recent years and we must stop it.

Because it implies that there are a bunch of people out there doing this, which is utter BS. Like Reagan's boogie welfare queen.
If DMT didn't exist we would have to invent it. There has to be a weirdest thing. Once we have the concept weird, there has to be a weirdest thing. And DMT is simply it.

      • Do you guys really think people shouldn't have health care if they can't afford it? That they should be denied coverage for pre-existing conditions or have life-time caps?

If you answer yes, you're just a pos imo. Hopefully that isn't anyone in here but I get the sense that some people really don't give a shit if millions lose their health coverage.

        • My monthly healthcare costs to cover my family equals the cost of an iPhone.

I wish I could find a plan that costs as much as a phone.

The other thing here is that a phone is a critical part of one's career & career development. We're on the move and need to be accessible. Some jobs rely on that phone as their data connectivity.

The pre-existing conditions policy is being kept, as are the prohibitions on annual and lifetime limits, so I'm not sure why you're ragging against the machine on those issues.
"When I use a word," Humpty Dumpty said in rather a scornful tone, "it means just what I choose it to mean - neither more nor less."
"The question is," said Alice, "whether you can make words mean so many different things."
"The question is," said Humpty Dumpty, "which is to be master - that's all."

so if someone were buying new iphones for their entire family of 4, that could have covered 4 months of insurance?

A < $100 phone will work just fine. Last year I used a $40 LG Volt for a while and I somehow lived through it.

                To lure you out

It might not be in this first draft but the conservatives are clearly not satisfied because there are still too many 'entitlements'.

Find us a plan that covers everything with low deductibles and Co pays for 900 bucks a year.

And it's douchey to say that because once again, you have a over generalization of a group of people, you know, like all Trump voters are racist or misogynistic or morons.

I dont think doctors should be forced by the government to treat people that are not able to pay. If there are doctors willing to treat people that have limited capacities to pay - good for them.

That they should be denied coverage for pre-existing conditions or have life-time caps?
Again, these are decisions should be determined by the insurance company offering the policy to the holder. The business should not be forced by the government to provide any service that they dont feel is in the best interest of the business. That is how insurance companies make money. If there are companies that want to offer policies that dont have caps or provide for pre-existing conditions - good for them.

I think you come from this with the point of view that health care is a right. I come from this with the point of view that no doctor or business should be forced by the geovernment to provide a service to anyone. The doctor or business can choose who the want to provide services to.

                          • Healthcare should be a human right, and a national security priority. No one is going to invade us, but someone will release a bioweapon.

                            • Don't mean to single you out, but it sickens me how we talk about healthcare in this country. Guess what, life is a pre-existing condition. At some point, we all get sick or injured and die. Let's make money off of that, yea 'Murica!!

Well done. I am drawn to factually inaccurate nonsense like a moth to a flame. It's a personal failing.

Having exposed myself as a clueless, hare-brained, d-bag, POS GOP apologist, I'd probably best be moving along before the rest of the pack comes roaring in.

                                Carry on!
