And if you watched the game, Reed's outing could have been much worse...he got away with a bunch of pitches left up/out over strike zone. After walking the first guy, He threw a meatball to McGehee who absolutely ripped one to right center that Parra tracked down nicely. And Ozuna just missed a couple laser-straight/zero movement fastballs before he laced the HR to center. only question is if the D'Backs figure "Can't get any worse, we suck, we're paying him a lot, just keep Reed in there." Hopefully not, I just snagged Ziegler last night.12-team mixed keeper. 6x6 (OBP, QS the extra categories).

AH, THE OMINOUS VOTE OF CONFIDENCE....
Diamondbacks manager Kirk Gibson on Wednesday said that Addison Reed remains the team's closer.
Reed blew another save Tuesday, serving up a two-out, two-run homer to Marcell Ozuna in a loss to the Marlins. The reliever has blown five saves, allowed a whopping nine home runs over 36 2/3 innings and has a 4.42 ERA, but Gibson obviously thinks he's still the club's best option in the ninth inning. We can't imagine Reed having more leash going forward, but then again we figured a change would probably have been made by now. Brad Ziegler remains the best bet for saves in Arizona if the Snakes eventually make a move.12-team mixed keeper. 6x6 (OBP, QS the extra categories).

This was in an update for Giles on the ESPN fantasy site:
Manager Ryne Sandberg said Giles and Jake Diekman are the likely candidates to close if Jonathan Papelbon needs a day off, the Phillies' official site reports.Originally posted by Kevin SeitzerWe pinch ran for Altuve specifically to screw over Mith's fantasy team.

Who's next in TEX is this happens....Frasor? Feliz? Fangraphs has Frasor.
FOX Sports' Jon Morosi and Ken Rosenthal report that the Angels, Blue Jays and Tigers have been in contact with Rangers regarding Joakim Soria.
The Angels would be the best landing spot for Soria from a fantasy perspective, as he would figure to have the best chance to remain a closer. Soria is making a reasonable $5.5 million this season with a $7 million club option for 2015, so it's no surprise that he's drawing interest. He's put up a 2.76 ERA and ridiculous 40/4 K/BB ratio over 29 1/3 innings this season.12-team mixed keeper. 6x6 (OBP, QS the extra categories).
