You have a shot. And if not, you have some great pieces to deal to accelerate your rebuild. Solid position to be in.

It would have to be more than a couple, but my fingers are crossed. I have had teams gel a year early before.

WW in the first month could be crucial. I landed Cedrick Mullins' breakout season because I needed an injury replacement.

I have six picks remaining in the last seven rounds.

The roster is almost unplayable as it stands but rebuilds are like that. If lightning strikes I could even make a run at it. It's happened twice before. Shit will happen and pieces will fail meaning the WW will be important this season.

    Davis Schneider, 2B, TOR

    Garrett Whitlock, SP,RP BOS
    Tyler Rogers RP SF
    Geraldo Perdomo 2B,3B,SS ARZ

    Jake Cronenworth, 1B/2B, SD
    Adael Amador 2b SS COL
    Sean Manaea NYM - SP,RP

I went with the best arm available DL Hall, recently acquired by Milwaukee.

After this pick, I skip another round to keep Brandon Pfaadt.

Me: DL Hall MIL - RP

    Alex Verdugo, OF, NYY
    Brett Baty, 3B, NYM
    Tyler Wells, SP, BAL
    Joel Payamps RP MIL
    Ryan Noda 1B OAK
    Luis Severino SP NYM
    Nolan Schanuel 1B LAA
    Whit Merrifield 2B OF PHI
    Pederson, Joc OF AZ
    James Wood, OF, WAS
    Jason Adam, RP, TB
    Alex Kirilloff, 1B/OF MIN
    Mackenzie Gore SP WSH
    Wilmer Flores, 1B,3B, SFG
    Lance Lynn StL SP

We use a four-round increment to advance the option cost. That means every fourth round represents another year of keeper value. This is round # 20 The next jump is in round #21, where my next pick lives.

Tough run. Baty, Noda, Schanuel, Wood, and Adam were all on the radar. I think it's time to pull the trigger on Coby Mayo.

    Griffin Jax RP MIN
    Ranger Suarez SP PHI
    Patrick Wisdom 1B,3B CHC
    Hurston Waldrep SP ATL

    Me Coby Mayo 1B BAL

    Kyle Finnegan RP WAS
    Austin Hays OF BAL
    Dean Kremer SP BAL
    Andrew Nardi RP MIA
    Heston Kjerstad OF BAL
    Dylan Floro RP WAS
    Brandon Woodruff SP
    Charlie Blackmon OF COL
    Maurcio Duban 2B,SS Hou
    Ty France 1B SEA
    Taylor, Chris 3B,SS,OF LAD
    Shohei Ohtani (Pitcher) P LAD

    Chase DeLauter OF CLE

I did not intend to start a run on Orioles with the previous pick. Wow.

Now I sit out a round for Jackson Merrill. Back in about 20 picks.

Some of these guys have been doing it for more than a decade and never came close.

The contenders are cut from a different cloth.

In any event, here are the picks after Josh Bell (that manager has picked him for years).

    Me: Henry Davis OF PIT

    Kyle Manzardo, 1B, CLE
    Reid Detmers SP LAA
    Mason Miller SP LAD
    Matt Strahm SP/RP PHI
    Yuki Matsui P SD

    Robert Suarez RP SD

    DJ LeMahieu INF NYY
    Edward Cabrera SP Mia
    Shawn Armstrong, P, TB
    Will Benson OF CIN
    Jon Berti 2B/3B/SS/OF MIA
    Reese Olson, SP, DET
    Max Kepler, OF, MIN
    Chris Paddack RP MIN

For CI Ty France is the best ADP but I can get someone like Wilmer Flores for several more rounds. At some point, I might think about Kiriloff or Marsh but not yet.

Has Whit Merrifield any interest? He still qualifies at 2B.

Two of my current objects of interest are Bryan Woo and James Wood. Ironic, no? Oops. Woo was kept.
