The amazing thing about TFTC is that it's a double-album without a weak song on it....I can count the number of those on two hands.If DMT didn't exist we would have to invent it. There has to be a weirdest thing. Once we have the concept weird, there has to be a weirdest thing. And DMT is simply it.

I like "Black Sheets of Rain" more than any Husker Du album. I think "Copper Blue" is better than some Husker Du albums. They've put out some crap in recent years. If you've listened to Too Far to Care and don't like it then I guess you won't like them. However, Satellite Rides is much more of a power pop album and I think it's their second best. That release contains bonus songs. Initially, it was not put out of vinyl and now that I think about it I believe 46 minutes is a minute or two longer than what will fit on an LP. I guess it's a situation where the CD age has distorted the lines between single and double albums.
