or the one that says you can't be a d-bag that rides around in your car with a gun until you find someone you don't like and then initiate a confrontation.

Or the one that says you can't use racist epithets and then beat a Hispanic man's head into the concrete.
I'm just here for the baseball.

There's the one! One person that night broke an actual law of the land and that's assault. Assault someone in a right to carry state and you get what you get.

That's not what happened and Martin was hardly a "kid". You know he wasn't really 12 right like the media would have you believe.

Trayvon initiated the confrontation. Zimmerman was the neighboorhood watch. So he watched an unfamilar man walk through his town. He's got out checked things out then started going back to his vehicle and was sucker punched jumped by a man disturbed by the white ass cracka getting into his business. Martin the man made an adult decision to assault someone and paid the price. Case closed. Zimmerman should change his last name to Lopez, so he can go back to being hispanic again. Good job media!

Common sense...if police tell you to stay put and not follow a suspicious person...try to listen.
Considering his only baseball post in the past year was bringing up a 3 year old thread to taunt Hornsby and he's never contributed a dime to our hatpass, perhaps?

A 911 operator is not the police. Common sense is not assaulting someone.

That's not what happened, of course.

To be fair, the media coverage was terrible.

As was the political pressure on the investigation.......
Anyway - Fair & objective is never a prerequisite for media coverage of any event with perceived racial components...now or in the past.

The prosecution in conjunction with political interference butchered the entire event and earned the judgement.

Horrible story and horribly prosecuted, but from my understanding the law is not written very well.

My biggest problem is that people want a pound of flesh from Zimmerman. He was tried and acquitted by his peers just as our judicial system is meant to work. We don't have to agree, but we sure need to accept the jury's decision. In this country we love, not every decision is decided in the way we agree. We just need to take some of the warts along with the beauty.

i have epiphanies like that all the time. for example i was watching a basketball game today and realized pom poms are like a pair of tits. there's 2 of them. they're round. they shake. women play with them. thus instead of having two, cheerleaders have four boobs.

In what way is this a wart on the system? This is the textbook way the judicial system should work. The evidence showed this was a killing in self defense not a murder. Just because the media convicted him and the usual suspects pushing their agenda convicted him doesn't mean he "got off". He got off because it was a self defense killing.

The same people calling this the worst thing to happen in the history of things had parties and cheered up and down when OJ was acquitted. Bunch of hypocrites. It's only justice if "their" guy gets away with it.

Both were wrong, but only one broke actual laws and he's dead.

our community has seen both Casey Anthony and this wannabe cop walk within the last year. We've seen our fair share of warts
