Here is what our rules say:
"2. Once someone is picked they are off the table. A singer in a band, and her solo output will be considered the same thing. I guess we can be a little bit pragmatic with this rule, and deal with it at the time. Let's please avoid dick moves here, like deliberately picking a band to KO more than one artist (or visa versa) ... although some instances will be unavoidable."
I'm sure this wasn't intended as a dick move by deliberately picking a band to KO both female vocalists. On the other hand, I think we should be pragmatic whenever possible, especially when artists have band careers and solo careers.
Caveat: I had one of the two on my short list.
