We are all dust in the wind.
Bob- I'm not exactly sure it would ROCK as you say it Byron.. it may be cool, by typical text book descriptions. Your opinion of this is shallow and poorly constructed, but allow me to re-craft your initial thought into something tangable.

Meh... not as good as the first one. A few good moments, but kind of slow for this type of movie. I think The Accountant is superior and more fun.

I think Pulp Fiction is the only one in your top-20 that would make mine. I love a good comedy but a smart drama seems to be my wheelhouse.

My top 20 in only a somewhat order:
            Almost Famous
            Adaptation
            The Big Lebowski
Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind
            Pulp Fiction
            Goodfellas
            The 40-Yeard-Old Virgin
            Anchorman
            Casablanca
            Caddyshack
            Star Wars
            High Fidelity
            Dazed and Confused
            Wayne's World
            Swingers
            Field of Dreams
            There's Something About Mary
            Birdman
Die Hard (apparently two made my list)
            Ferris Bueller's Day Off

I enjoy a wide variety of movies. I think maybe my floor is higher than most as I seem to find enjoyment in some movies that are not so well received. Yet looking at my top 20 movies I have to believe a bunch would make your top 20 lists as well.

So what kinds of movies do you like and how many of my top 20 would be in your top 20?

              1-Die Hard
              2-Tombstone
              3-GodFather 1 and 2
              4-Goodfellas
              5-Jurasic Park
              6-Young Frankenstein
              7-Plains Trains Automobiles
              8-Kill Bill 1 and 2
              9-Fargo
              10-Rio Lobo
              11- Pulp Fiction
              12-Big Jake
              13-Raiders of the Lost Ark
              14-Get Shorty
              15-The Big Sleep
              16- The Bourne Identity
              17- 12 Angry Men
              18- Poltergeist
              19-Home Alone
              20- The Outlaw Josey Wales
To those who posted; are there any movies on this list that you haven't seen? Also are there any movies on this list that you saw but did not care for?

Haven't seen: Rio Lobo, Big Jake

Didn't care for: Get Shorty, Home Alone

Same question to you for my list.

I didn't see Amadeus. I didn't care much for The Fellowship of the Ring. All of the others I found enjoyable. Cuckoo's Nest closest to making my list of those that are not already on it.

I've seen about 10 of these. Of those, cant say that there were any that I didnt care for (so maybe I should watch the other 10 ), tho Pulp Fiction I thought was just OK. Some of the 10 I havent seen just arent my kind of movies, tho.

Of those out now, I want to see "Loving" (I'm interested in the story and also a friend of the family is in it). Also, I'm looking forward to the "Ghost In The Shell" movie that will be out in March. Not usually into sci-fi movies but I'm familiar w the anime and it's supposed to be good.

I saw 4 and 9 out of that list, missed the other 23.

I saw Sully as my only movie so far this year. It was good. 3 stars. don't know why I saw a review give it 4 stars. I think it went 3 for 3 and didn't even bat a 4th time...
