You can't really compare what Trump is getting now. There is no incentive for his minions to go out to vote since he's got it all locked up already.

As an aside, I just saw a pretty amusing hashtag for the Gary Johnson Libertarian campaign:

Congrats on finishing law school! When do you take the bar exams?

      And that hashtag....LOL.

      • Bernie needs to man up and bow out. Now that Clinton has won a majority of pledged delegates, he has no rational argument for being the nominee.

As they told us in bar prep, don't worry about knowing everything, there's no award for the highest score. You don't get a parade in Albany and, even if you did, you'd have to go to Albany. I'm sure you can use a similarly undesirable city in New Mexico.

But yeah, if you don't freak out during bar prep at least once, you're not doing it right. Who will have today's meltdown was a fun game my study group would play.

As for Gary Johnson, a bunch of New Mexicans are fired up about him, being the former governor and all that. I haven't noticed that he's really garnering any sort of real support on a national level, though.

But if my Facebook feed is indicative of anything (it's not), many folks that I know are feeling pretty deflated about Hillary's victory right now. Some are openly hoping for an indictment, others are cheering the concept of a contested convention. The power of the Bern is still pretty strong. Pretty much no one understands the primary process and pretty much everyone is upset about the superdelegates. The amount of incredibly creative math being bandied about in an effort to show Bernie Sanders as the true nominee is substantial.
Bar Exam - I hated to study in law school, and generally crammed at the last minute for exams, but I realized that would not work for the Bar Exam. I had a good work ethic for jobs, though, so I treated the bar exam like a job. I got up every morning about 6:30, opened a beer, and started reading. I spent at least eight hours a day, and then about two hours in the evening reviewing what I had learned.

Gary Johnson - Two former Republican governors. Gee, that's exciting.

Bernie's fans - So who is surprised? I'm not sure Bernie would get the nod if Hillary were to be indicted, but that tells you a lot about the Berners and their commitment to the will of the people. As for their knowledge of the process, do they understand that if you eliminated the supers, Hillary would be the nominee right now, with a majority of the delegates? Do they understand that Hillary absolutely murderized Bernie in primaries, and if not for the most undemocratic caucuses he would be closer to O'Malley than to her? I hear so much talk about how Hillary has to court Bernie supporters now. I don't think so. She needs to worry about Buddy Pine, and Bernie needs to drop this fight to the convention business and start whipping his people.

I'm tired of hearing the "I'll vote for Trump, that'll show them." Fine. Vote for Trump.

The other thing I was told that helped calm me was to think of every dumb shit attorney you've ever met or heard speak. They all passed the bar and so will you. It was a nice pep talk.

That is a flat out truth...I can't believe the amount of moronic attorneys that I've had to interview through the years. My favorite was a guy in Wisconsin who's opening argument as a defense attorney in a murder trial, consisted of acting out the knife fight his client was involved in, complete with Batman sounds as he mimed being hit. It was awesome. And a bunch of legislators who are true morons as well...all passed the bar.

                  You'll do just fine Chris...

in all seriousness, I have no doubt you will battle through. and take the advice of that UMJ man above who grew up reading me in his local morning newspaper and passed the bar years later in spite of it!

How about that news that Harry Reid is trying to recruit Elizabeth Warren to run on Hillary's ticket? Now that would be a major development. It would certainly assuage the concerns of many Bernie fans. I'd guess that it would also cause the misogyny to ramp up tenfold, but maybe that's just the cynic in me.
I think Harry may be trying to redeem himself after saying earlier there was no way Warren would be on the ticket. Or not.

Seemed to me they were leaning toward Sherrod Brown. Good guy, swing state. There's that Christie guy, who can be had pretty cheaply. And I hear Fiorina is looking for a gig, too.

Or maybe Elizabeth Hasselbeck, and try to draw some Trumpers over. I hear Kate Upon is a conservative, too. Clinton/Upton 2016!

It is wrong and ultimately self-defeating for a nation of immigrants to permit the kind of abuse of our immigration laws we have seen in recent years and we must stop it.

                            Thanks for playing....

If I typed "I hear Kate Upon is a conservative, too. Clinton/Upton 2016!" Condoning the Kate Upton candidacy - because lets be honest she is hot and has big tits - I would then again be called misogynistic (as I am judging her and her candidacy specifically based on her looks rather than her potential political acumen).

Similarly - I was accused of being said - when I responded related to HRC in a post saying "I dont care if she wears pantsuits or dresses - just wear something".

Consistency is a marvelous thing, especially when it doesnt apply to people on "your side".

BG, I don't think you read your own definition. Nothing in my post indicates that I dislike, despise or am strongly prejudiced against Kate Upton. To the contrary, I like her very much.

Since Trumpers don't seem to think with their brains, I googled "20 conservative women". There were some interesting ones...Palin, Bachman, Malkin, some I never heard of, and then Hasselbeck and Upton, both well known and both really cute. Perfect balance for a Clinton ticket. You might say that is sexist, but certainly not misogynist.

Your comment, however, was straight up misogynist.

Consistency is indeed a marvelous thing, and a four syllable word, just like misogynist. Look 'em up before using them.

                              • The misogyny is essentially qualifying her to be a VP because she is hot and has big tits..... In the Social Justice World - your statement is just as misogynistic because it demeans women and treats them only as objects to be admired. Sexism is misogynistic.

Love you guys - I really do.
