I am not convinced that she will win the nomination. This win for Bernie is a huge statement against the established. Its says - we are not afraid to change things up.
It is wrong and ultimately self-defeating for a nation of immigrants to permit the kind of abuse of our immigration laws we have seen in recent years and we must stop it.

Does anyone believe that the N.H. results will spur someone else into the race? I think it is pretty obvious that the powers that be in the Dem party do NOT want Bernie as the nominee. Biden? Gore? Bloomberg? Someone else? I think many Dems are really hoping for an alternative choice here.
The Sanders win might have been nothing more than a home state victory. Yes, I know he's from Vermont, but the two states aren't very different, and obviously right next to each other. They should just merge and become New Vermontshire.
All kidding aside, it's a nice win for Sanders, but he needs to win in some of those bigger states for me to believe he has a good chance at being the Democratic nominee.
Considering his only baseball post in the past year was bringing up a 3 year old thread to taunt Hornsby and he's never contributed a dime to our hatpass, perhaps?

Ha not true. I live in NH and the states are very different though I do agree that is a home field win. Bernie's message (as does Trump's) plays very well to the 'Live Free or Die' mentality of NH which has allways been a place of independents and strong opposition to establishment.
I am still thinking Hillary can fix her message and with her bajillion dollars re-take control. How will socialist Bernie fare in a southern state? South Carolina will tell us a lot.
Find that level above your head and help you reach it.
Vermont and New Hampshire are right next to each other but could absolutely not be more different.
As different as China and Luxembourg, eh?

Hopefully, the upside from a Bloomberg entry would be vindication for Sanders' claims and even more enthusiasm generated for him and his ideas.
During Bloomberg's tenure as mayor, his net worth increased from $4.5 billion to $32 billion. Meanwhile, 46% of his city's residents lived at or near poverty levels. The guy is like a walking advertisement for wealth inequality.
This is what I immediately thought when suggestions of anyone entering the race midstream at the behest of the DNC or mainstream wing of the party.
Sanders supporters don't want Bloomberg, Biden or anyone like that as is being reflected in Clinton's struggles.
Once O'Malley and Warren throw their support behind Bernie (and it's coming) It's will be Clinton who will need to pull of the upset.
FWIW, many of the people I know who are Republicans has said they'd vote Bernie should it come down to Trump or Sanders, but they'll eat glass before they vote for Hillary.

Though Bernie Sanders won the New Hampshire primary in a landslide over Hillary Clinton, he will likely receive fewer delegates than she will.
But under Democratic National Committee rules, New Hampshire also has 8 “superdelegates,” party officials who are free to commit to whomever they like, regardless of how their state votes. Their votes count the same as delegates won through the primary.
If DMT didn't exist we would have to invent it. There has to be a weirdest thing. Once we have the concept weird, there has to be a weirdest thing. And DMT is simply it.

How the fuck can Hillary have all these delegates? The article says she has 394 and that sanders has 42?

Because the system is a farce and owned by the party - which will ultimately and likely put up the person that they want to run - rather than the person who wins the votes.
If it continues this way, I would imagine there will be a bigger outcry for election reform than there has been in the past.

Nah. Not as different as Texas and Massachusetts. Not even as different as Texas and New Mexico.
Would Bloomberg enter as a Democrat or an independent? It only makes sense if he is entering to protect banking interests, which has been Hillary's job.
Why does everyone keep talking about South Carolina? The Democrats are not with the Republicans next week. The Democratic SC primary is three days before Super Tuesday.
