You know way back when, I used to visit the site and only checked out the baseball and football forums, you know, cause I wasn't interested in the political/off-topic stuff. I still checked the site every day. And then I discovered that the level of discourse in the Sports Bar is miles ahead of anything I might find on other boards, political or not. Now I read most of the threads and I think I'm better educated for it. Maybe the right is underrepresented on the site, but there are righties here that will keep the threads balanced. And all in a civilized manner. Imagine that! I wish I could contribute more to the threads, but wow, sgs couldn't be any more wrong.

You don't show up and shat on someone's couch like that. It isn't a democracy here and I swing the ban hammer as I choose to. Regardless of content, you don't debut calling the place a craphole. I don't want to see what future posts will look like if the first post comes in that way.
