When Harris abandoned the issues and went full-on Trump-is-fascist I knew she was cooked. The question was how big the margin would be. I did not expect Trump to win by over 4 million votes in the popular count. Plus they gained 4 votes in the Senate.

The shift to the right is clear and will not change once all votes are counted, but the there a millions of votes left to be counted, so using the current, incomplete vote count as evidence of the completely unfounded voter fraud claims in 2020 is yet another example of misuse of data by the misguided, ignorant, and those purposefully misleading others. We cannot know how the number of voters in 2024 compare to 2020 yet, but that doesn't seem to be stopping people from using the incomplete numbers to prematurely push their desired narrative.
