    Lower. Much, much lower.

      You are correct. I meant impeached and removed.

        Actually you didn't say that at all. You said there's a "99.9999999999% chance of Trump NOT being removed" which is a trillion to 1.

        It sounds like what you are really saying is that you don't actually understand numbers even though you are arguing about statistics.

        OK Mith, I'll ignore your numbers argument as we discuss stats. Carry on.

        Please try to keep up, I said 1%-10%. You don't seem to grasp the likelihood of the buffoon being a buffoon do you?

        I don't want your $50, but thanks. If Trump actually was removed from office, which as I've noted is an extreme long shot, that's winning enough. If I did want to bet with you and you won, based on the odds you provided I'd send you a penny and you could shave off the portion you won from me and send it back.

          • Trump can do no wrong, evidently, as his numbers among republicans are solid. In span of 30 minutes Trump earlier today, about an hour ago, sent out these 7 tweets. Trump twitter feed is a stream of psychotic miasma where as outsiders, we should all share a sense of shame that this is who managed to game his way, by hook or crook as they say, into highest office.

            "The Do Nothing Democrats are a disgrace! "
            "The best Economy ever!"
            "Witch Hunt!"
            "The Real Deal!"
            "AMERICA FIRST!"
            “No president in American history has been treated like this.”
            and final posting was of trumps head, perfectly coiffed full set of hair, atop i kid you not, Stallones body who is in full rocky 3 sweat and muscle glory.

            I mean this is a source of national shame if we had a working, sane, and aware electorate. Daily we are treated to a display of narcissism, stupidity, and of course fealty to Putin and cruelty to all people of darker skin. On bright side, this is greatest motivator we have ever had to have a high voter turnout.

              I agree completely. It will be a dark day in America if this man is reelected. The very idea depresses me. He and his vile, racist cronies (like Miller) need to go.

                Furthermore, what if he is re-elected? It will completely give validation to this endless drama and division, and politics would have to evolve into this on both sides. Plus, if he does win, it's justification for another dopey one-sided GOPer to be the front-runner (Don Jr.? Ivanka? Graham? McCarthy?)

                The Trump regime has justified:
                - simply undoing everything the old president has done;
                - governing for just half the country;
                - bullying and name-calling;
                - lying endlessly;
                - finding dirt on rivals at any expense.

                  while not smart at the time, Hillary had the right name for the Trump base.

                    I don't want to believe we the US has already begun its hard fall with his initial election, but if he is reelected we really are Rome at the end. Part of me is scared by the potential contrast between Sanders/Warren and Trump "forcing" moderates to vote for Trump, because they care more about their tax rate than they do about, well, any and everything else. But regardless of who the Dem nom is, anyone who has seen what Trump is, heard him, watched him nominate those who despise the positions they were hired for and/or are racist, bigoted scumbags--I will stop short of calling them deplorable, but it is indisputable that they put racism and basic decency low on their list of concerns. I will go so far as to say that any Christian who votes for the man is a hypocrite. Trump embodies the opposite of every value Christians are supposed to cherish.

                    • Which begs the question--What is it exactly that makes Sanders a worse choice than Trump (because not voting against Trump is in essence, a vote for him this next election)

                      I know there's at least one Junkie who's stated Sanders is a no go.
                      If I whisper my wicked marching orders into the ether with no regard to where or how they may bear fruit, I am blameless should a broken spirit carry those orders out upon the innocent, for it was not my hand that took the action merely my lips which let slip their darkest wish. ~Daniel Devereaux 2011

                        Socialism and taxes. That's a short list, but a very important one for many. The argument a voter who dislikes Trump but would vote for him or at least not vote for Sanders would make is as follows: Trump represented a fundamental shift in the tone and tenor of politics in America. He is disgrace, to be sure, but stripped of all the vulgarity, the buffoonery, the grotesque spectacle, he is essential in line with GOP ideals, and much of what makes him appalling is just extreme versions of what we have seen before in terms of corruption, incompetence, and self-serving antics. While he packages himself as disruptive to the "deep state," he is not. He is just another cog in the machine, albeit the greasiest, slimiest one we have ever seen.

                        In contrast, Sanders represents a fundamental ideological shift in American politics. He is an entirely new political animal in the menagerie of American politicians with a real chance to be president. He represents a real and significant shift away from capitalism as the foundational economic principal of our country. It is a move toward much more government, to serve noble ends, to be sure, helping millions of people undeserved by our current system. But to many others, it represents a move away from choice and freedom, a move toward more control and distribution of resources from government, which many Americans do not trust and do not want.

                        Sanders=more government and more taxes to an extreme not seen in a long time, as the Dems have moved toward neoliberalism in recent decades. Some prefer a devil who will tax them less than an angel who will take a much bigger part of their paychecks and put in government control much more than is there currently. (Some might also point out the road to hell is paved with good intentions).

                        I can appreciate that argument, especially if it comes from anyone who has heard the noble promises in communist countries that end up being just oppression by another name, and one that holds back society as a whole more than capitalism. But Sanders is not a communist, and I do not think he would have the political capital to even enact the one socialist program I believe is a moral imperative--universal health care. Also, I'd vote for the resurrected zombie corpse of Marx himself over Trump.
