Re Jeremy Hill, if Cincy had any faith left in him, they wouldn't have spent such a high pick on Mixon. He's been pretty abysmal the past 2 years. There are reasons to be concerned about Mixon, but I don't think Hill is one of them.
In 2016, Hill had 12 TD's, and last year he had 9...he gets it done in the red zone, and that's reason enough for concern. He's also in a contract year...maybe it makes a difference, maybe not. But remember that Mixon couldn't shake Samaje Perine in college.

Anybody eyeing him over the next round?
I wasn't...been burned once too often by him. You're absolutely right about talent and risk - he has the skills to be a top-5 receiver, IMO. But he's equally likely to get suspended for half the season for doing something really, really, incomprehensibly stupid.
I'm just here for the baseball.

I was definitely considering him at the turn.

I considered him instead of Tyreek knowing that neither would likely make it back to me next round. Couldn't decide which was more likely - Bryant suspension or Tyreek being a one-year wonder.

          • "4.10 - Danny Woodhead, RB BAL"

Damn, had him on my radar. PPR gold! The recent news of Kenneth Dixon's injury really doesn't affect his value I don't think, but Woodhead will get his hand on the ball plenty.

Agreed - was hoping he'd last one more round! I forgot the exact stat I read but Baltimore either throws the most in general or the most to their running backs (or both I guess?) which makes Woodhead a very attractive target. Will be interesting to see how high his ADP rises in the next few weeks.

              • Guess this validates the timing was about right as I wasn't sure if this was a little early or not. Agree, I gave him no bump for the Dixon news although he may still deserve one as he is pretty strong in the red zone. Great PPR back and should be a focal point of the offense assuming the knee continues to progress.

                • Yeah I was going to grab him as well. But I had 2 RB's....so I grabbed Julian Edelman instead. Him and Landry together make for excellent PPR values.

                  • Like the Edelman pick as well as he was someone else in my consideration set. Redzone looks might decrease a bit but other than that a very good WR2 for PPR imo.

                    • Damnit! You took Brady! I knew I should have taken Brady and then got Edelman at 5.02!

                        He is, after all, consistent.

I probably would not have taken Edelman on the turn. Uncertain of his impact after the Cooks addition.

                        • Jordan Reed placed on the PUP list today. While sometimes that is not that big of a deal at this point in the summer, with his history this is a big red flag, IMO.

                          • So the 5th round is where the RBs with question marks start going. Got it.

                            • I get to keep Gillislee for $6 in a $250-cap league and I'm ecstatic about that. I'm not sure how to value him in PPR, though. He seems to be ticketed for the Blount role, which is very TD-dependent, and NE has so many weapons and game plans that anyone (except Brady and Gronk when healthy) is prone to disappearing for entire games.

                              • I would have taken Olsen at the turn had Gris swiped Brady.
