With frae's pick of Trammell in 1987, it makes me wonder. Which individual year is the most common for hitters in drafts with decades involved. I assume it has to be either 1987 or (more likely) 1894. Both seem to stand out relative to their decade. For pitchers, I would guess 1968.

That would make it interesting - our wild card could be letter OR Decade. That would flip things around a little bit.

I don't know if that would change anything. If you used a wild card on a decade instead of a letter, that would mean an extra QUIZY letter, and I can't imagine that would work. There would have to be an extra roster slot added or something that came with a decade wild card.

But still way too early to tell. Lots of picks I am planning only have a couple of people who can take them, but one certain person keeps popping up in all the lists. The two of us might kamikaze each other by taking each other's picks.
