I just bought a new gaming computer that arrives tomorrow. Gimme some PC games I need to download. I've been playing Age of Empires III for the last few weeks after a 15-year hiatus. I tend to like those kinds of games, as well as wargames and some decent role playing games. Hook me up, yo.

The Call of Duty series for war stuff. Personally, the modern ones with jetpacks and shit are stupid, but the war ones, starting with COD 4 are good. For that game I posted above? You could run that on a potato. It's just a digital version of a board game. A laptop would be fine ... well ... assuming it's not running Windows 95 or something. So Steam is the main portal for purchasing games online. Most games can be found there, though a lot of the major publishers have their own dedicated portals. You won't find any Blizzard games on Steam for instance (World of Warcraft, Starcraft etc).Originally posted by The Feral Slasher View Post
