Add george Davis season and career stat different
... and that throws another spanner in the works, because those are not 1870's players.

Zimmerman's PA's jumped by 150, but his AB's remained the same. 5 extra RBI's. Weird.

    • Would it be possible for everyone to go through their team, and confirm that the stats for any player before 1920 tally with BR.com ... and make a post to confirm their team is checked so I can tick them off, if there are differences, highlight the players and I will update the SS.

Also, if you are thinking of picking a player from before 1920, could you do a check with BR.com and make sure it's correct.

      Bold = Fixed HITTERS

1 TS Garp (minor changes to Latham)
2 Revo (minor changes to Cap Anson)
      3 DMT
      4 Frae
      5 Heyelander
      6 Feral Slasher
7 Hacko (minor changes to Van Haltren, Zimmerman, G Davis/1897)
8 mjl (minor changes to Wagner/1899/1912)
9 Johnny (minor changes to Delahanty, Zimmer and Tucker)
      10 Diablo
      11 Controller J
      12 Long John

EDIT: most of these errors seem to be compiling errors. I'm guessing counting wasn't top to the list of desired skills on these job application forms (says the person who uses a calculator for everything).

Should mention that I'm doing the hitters first ... will get back to the pitchers after.

              • I looked through mine tonight. Some minor changes, but nothing ridiculous. Will post tomorrow.

                • Honus Wagner: -1 career RBI
                  King Kelly: no change
                  Eddie Plank: no change
                  Mordecai Brown: no change
                  Harry Heilmann: +1 career RBI
and the Spalding changes already noted.
In the best of times, our days are numbered, anyway. And it would be a crime against Nature for any generation to take the world crisis so solemnly that it put off enjoying those things for which we were presumably designed in the first place, and which the gravest statesmen and the hoarsest politicians hope to make available to all men in the end: I mean the opportunity to do good work, to fall in love, to enjoy friends, to sit under trees, to read, to hit a ball and bounce the baby.

                  • Tris Speaker: +2 career RBI
George Bradley's career line changed, but not significantly - +51Ks most notably. ERA and WHIP went up a bit.
                    Code:

                    Art Nehf: +1 career Sv

PAs changed for a number of my older hitters, but nothing that would affect our deliberations.
