Just got my first legends draft with the new play "upgrade". I could draft an upgrade of LOLB Blitz to Silver. I currently have it at titanium.
Uuummm...
Considering his only baseball post in the past year was bringing up a 3 year old thread to taunt Hornsby and he's never contributed a dime to our hatpass, perhaps?
Are you sure you're looking at the correct version of that? I have a ROLB blitz play with a 4-3 package at Titanium, but I also have a ROLB blitz play with a 3-4 package at Gold. Maybe you have a second copy with the other package too?
In the best of times, our days are numbered, anyway. And it would be a crime against Nature for any generation to take the world crisis so solemnly that it put off enjoying those things for which we were presumably designed in the first place, and which the gravest statesmen and the hoarsest politicians hope to make available to all men in the end: I mean the opportunity to do good work, to fall in love, to enjoy friends, to sit under trees, to read, to hit a ball and bounce the baby.

Hhhmmm....I can't really go back and check, but it seems you might be right. I also have a 1-star LOLB Blitz.
Well, at least I didn't lose anything...wouldn't have taken it anyway.

For baseball does changing the badge type negatively reflect a player's performance. For Instance I have Endy Chavez with a vision I badge but I could easily give him a hustle II badge. Would that change his dynamic negatively (Ie not give me as many SB or hits). Or is this just as simple as a higher badge improves the player no matter what?

Sure. The badges give bonuses in certain categories, so switching badges may lower/eliminate bonuses in some categories but raise them in others. Hustle increases speed, but vision increases HRs. But a higher ranked badge gives higher bonuses as well.

How much does this suck:
In a Legend V baseball league last night, I carefully navigated a difficult league to go 17-0 with one game left. In that game, I had an 83% chance of winning, but I lost 1-0 to end up 17-1. When the league completed, I ended up tied with another team at 17-1, but lost the RD tiebreak by 2 runs.
This morning I was deciding between a 9-coin Babe Ruth or Rogers Hornsby. The spots I needed most to replace were OF (CarGo, 12.02 rating) and 2B (Brandon Phillips, 12.95) and 2B doesn't have nearly the quality as OF. But ultimately, I went with Ruth and his huge 20.2 HR%. So far at Level IV, he's batting 1-for-37 (.027 BA).
I've stagnated in football. I was playing fairly well, but then I hit legends and can't win a single game. I have a 8 wildcard coins to spend, will buying 2 3 coin guys be worth it? Will it make me any more competitive?
I'm not expecting to grow flowers in the desert...
That's the conundrum. There are so many positions to cover. I went primarily with 3-coiners and when trained up, some have done remarkably well. Bob Hayes, Julius Peppers and Richard Dent have all been awesome.
