Broxton is killing me. Trying to figure out id its Padilla or Kuo. Padilla looks like he would be next in line to me. Kuo has been hurt and innefective.
Source is Ken Gurnick via twitter. Save situations have to fall to Padilla, no?
Definitely Padilla in the short-term, most likely Kuo once he regains his form. Jansen could get back in the mix if he impresses in AA and puts together some more dominant outings at the major league level.
5/4. Lyons had been getting lucky recently (last 4 appearances included 3 wins each with 2 hits and a run.) The luck ran out today in a bad way
Bottom 9th: Cincinnati

- D. Stubbs walked

- B. Phillips singled to right, C. Heisey scored, J. Votto to second
- J. Bruce doubled to right, J. Votto scored, B. Phillips to third

For now they say it's too early to tell. I'm guessing they'll have him try to warm up tomorrow and if he still feels pain they'll send him in for an MRI. If he goes on the DL, it probably wouldn't be until the end of the week.
Edit: Turns out they sent him in for the MRI today and will decide whether he goes on the DL pending the results, so a decision will probably be made tomorrow. Then again, they'll have to find an MRI machine big enough to house Broxton - might have to skip on over to the LA Zoo.
Edit: He apparently had elbow discomfort even through the offseason and the Dodgers didn't investigate it at all.
I guess the next question is whether the lack of an MRI was due to the medical stuff diagnosing that one wasn't needed at the time or because of a mandate by the front office to not spend the money they didn't have.
