Small correction .... not trying to nitpick .... Seth, not Sean.

And the very active M's make another move, sending Nate Karns to the Royals for Jarrod Dyson

This leaves the M's with an interesting rotation, one full of question marks:

Felix (has the "slide" started"?)
Iwakuma (33, 28, 20, and 33 starts over the past four years - can they depend on another 30+ starts?)
Paxton (74, 37, and 121 IP in the bigs over the past three years - will he ever be healthy?)
Gallardo
and some combination of Chris Heston, Ariel Miranda, and Rob Whalen.

Interesting moves by the Ms. Nice OF upgrade in speed and defense, with lower power. Gallardo as a 5th SP, IMO, is a hit from Karns.

Only a one year deal. Healy will still play a CI. Between Plouffe and Alonzo, they might get 162 games of a healthy 1B.

At first, I thought the signing of Jose Miguel Fernandez would be a big deal. Reportedly, the Dodgers have agreed to terms with him. However, after reading this write up on him by Dodger Blue I've tapered my enthusiasm.

Sounds like they aren't thrilled with Healy's glove at 3B. Plouffe isn't a bad defensive 3B. Healy will split DH/1B duties with Alonso.
