I watched. He ran into one hiccup when he got squeezed on the pitcher. He ended up walking him and I think the next batter (3rd inning). Black came out and he re-focused and looked fine. It was a very good outing.

I'm pretty psyched about Luebke. I'm rebuilding, so I mostly care about 2012. But I do wonder how he'll handle stretching out for 2011. Could have some hiccups. Anyone know what sort of innings totals he put up in past years? Can he handle starting a full season? Kris Medlen had some success last year, but broke down under the workload. Then again, he's small.

We have a re-draft at the end of the month and trying to decide between Luebke, Volgelsong and Fister... I like Luebke for the k/9 over the other two...

Luebke pitched six innings and allowed both hits. He's allowed just three hits in 11 scoreless innings since joining the rotation.

Another great start by Luebke tonight. 3 dominant starts in 3 trys. This guy looks great. 3 walks and 21 strikeouts in 17 innings during the 3 starts. What do people see as his upside?

I sure the Pads are smart enough to bump someone else for Harang next week.

Mid 3's ERA with low 1.20's WHIP. Maybe even a bit better depending on how many starts he gets in Petco. In other words, he's for real.

75 pitches in 3IP so far today. That wont get it done.

                          Ended up to be a decent start - 5 IP, 3 H, 2 ER, 4 BB, 8 K

He should be a valuable pitcher next season. I wish I owned him in one of my 2 leagues.

yea he came back strong but the walks did him in today.

                            Still crushing tho.

The Lueb job pitched a gem yesterday. Too bad the pen let him down.

Agreed. He's looking like one of my better keepers for 2012 (at a buck!). And Petco gives him more breathing room than, say, Brandon Beachy. By the way, I like that moniker (Lueb Job), and will have to borrow it.
