I really like him and I have him at $2. However, am in negotiations to get Greinke and Luebke is part of the deal. The owner keeps trying to squeeze me for more. Good point. Though if he goes into the rotation his chances at wins goes way up. My starting pitchers are very good just very unlucky so far (I'm looking at you Ubaldo). Perhaps they don't want him to start for someone who's on the DL and then have to go back to relief when that player returns. Luebke pitched great for 3 innings before running out of gas in his 4th inning. The Pads are now 14 games below .500. I expect the Padres to give him a rotation spot soon.Comment

He gave up one on a 1 out double to A. Gonzalez, though the Pads almost turned a double play before Gonzalez's double, which would have meant no runs would have scored. Frieri walked to batters and hit a batter with 2 outs, allowing Gonzalez to score.Originally posted by Hammer View PostComment
