  • Preflop was ok. He raised it 1 1/2 times the BB in middle position. It was his check on the flop that killed him.

Bob- I'm not exactly sure it would ROCK as you say it Byron.. it may be cool, by typical text book descriptions. Your opinion of this is shallow and poorly constructed, but allow me to re-craft your initial thought into something tangable.

    • Yeah ... bad luck I think especially with the stack sizes ... the flush draw was never folding on that flop. But he should still have made a small bet on the flop so he could keep the lead in the hand, and muscle any draws off the turn. If the spade doesn't come on the turn (less that 22% chance), then he can shove the turn or pot control to see a cheap river.

In reality it wasn't a flush draw beating AAA though ... gotta watch this ITC fella!

On the turn it was a made flush against a pair of Aces with a 9 kicker! It only matters when the money goes in.

      • Yeah, I thought he had AA preflop when I first read it. Then I saw the A on the turn and felt terrible for him. I guess this played out the way it should have.
I'm not expecting to grow flowers in the desert...
