It's almost funny now, but at the time, part of my support for Obama was based on the fact that she would be so deionized by the far right that it would polarize the country. I didn't realize they were going to demonize any Dem president.

And of course, now the far right has nothing but respect for her. Irony is so ironic!

I think SOS was a perfect fit for her. Lot of people think she'd have been a better President than him--I vacillate on that. I always thought she got fairly harsh treatment from the media during the primaries last time--seemed like it was all pro-obama all the time but it might have turned out for the best because she has been a great SOS.

Funny for the reason I stated -- I thought the GOP would use extreme rhetoric about her to polarize the country while they would not do that to Obama.

One GOP voter asks McCain how they are going to stop "the bitch" and McCain doesn't even chastise her choice of words, but instead answers the question. The group Citizens United produced an entire movie attacking her! (Which ended up in the Supreme Court.)

There was an organized, insistent agenda to demonize Hillary back then. It was practically a cottage industry. Only now do you hear any respect for her from the far right.
