It has become monotonous. Another new record. 11 days 100° or over in September, more than all of a typical year. Now 90 days for the year. Now officially the hottest and driest summer ever, June 21-Sept 21.

One interesting thing about this study led by Robert Muller at UC-Berkeley is that it was partially funded by the Koch Foundation, in an effort to discredit the IPCC data. The other big source of funding was the Gates Foundation. Muller himself was a skeptic. But his results agree very well with the IPCC results.
