My high school was turned into condos a few years after I left, so when I first moved back home I had the option of living in my old high school. Seemed like a waking nightmare.

I like the condo structure where they build condos on top of a mall or whatever, so you've got access to groceries, banking, movie theater, rapid transit, etc. My school tried the same strategy, with some businesses occupying spaces on the first floor, but that concept fizzled out. Just not enough foot traffic.
