so I'm on a teams call for work & looking out my window watching a plane fly by. I was curious about it since there are so few around here these days so I looked it up on my FlightRadar app - turns out it's flying from Seoul to JFK & lands in 29 minutes. Kinda cool that I can see a plane that will be landing in NYC in under half an hour (I'm in Ontario).

"The abandoned bus on the Stampede Trail in Alaska -- made famous by the book and film "Into the Wild" -- has made its first journey in decades. This time by air.
Alaska Guardsmen airlifted the bus, also known as the Fairbanks Bus 142 and the "Magic Bus," Thursday afternoon, via helicopter, the Alaska National Guard said.
The decision to remove the bus in coordination with the Department of Natural Resources was made out of concern for public safety, the guard said in a statement. In its current location, near Healy, Alaska, the bus has drawn people into danger of the Alaska wilderness."

I saw Jerry Seinfeld at a comedy club in Fort Lee, NJ (made famous by SNL's Roseanne Roseannadanna before "Time for traffic problems in Fort Lee!") a year or two before his sitcom debuted. he was just another dude who got an occasional gig on The Tonight Show at the time.

his encore was an extended bit about how they aid moose who have lost their way by airlifting them back to their proper locale.
the bit was from the point of view of a typical moose, looking up and seeing another moose seemingly flying.
