Yeah, he is no Sarah Palin. He is a smart guy and a polished speaker--he is a Yale trained lawyer, after all. He also blatantly lies a lot (maybe that is already implied with him being a Yale trained lawyer), which is depressing, because it must mean that he believes most American voters won't know enough to know he is doing it. He may be right.

HIs positions and dishonesty aside, it continues to dumbfound me that with coherent options like Vance in the party, so many on the right continue to support Trump, who is so obviously dumber and so obviously focused on himself rather than on the American people and their issues. I long for a time when our country can go back to "normal" political discourse more akin to the VP debate and away from the circus that Trump has turned our national politics into. Trump's political success is such an embarrassment to our country. The fact that millions continue to support him is so incomprehensible to me, contemplating it is like staring into the abyss for me--I start to spiral into madness and have to pull myself out.

Anyone with half a brain can watch that dope speak and instantly know he literally has no idea what he's talking about and did not even spend one second preparing. That's what I don't get, and that's why it's a cult of stupidity.

      • Kamala Harris had to call into the Weather Channel to address misinformation and reassure Floridians that the federal government is working on their behalf as Hurricane Milton approaches. All because idiot Florida Governor Ron DeSantis is politicizing the hurricane by not taking calls from Biden and Harris and then claiming that the White House isn't offering enough help..

During her 10-minute appearance, Harris addressed DeSantis' accusation that the vice president is politicizing the storm. Harris started off by saying "this is not a time for us to point fingers at each other as Americans, it's really not."

"Anybody who considers themselves to be a leader should really be in the business right now of giving people a sense of confidence that we're all working together and that we have the resources and the ability to work together on their behalf, on behalf of the people of our country," Harris said. "That's what I'm focused on."

She added that she welcomes anyone to work with her on behalf of Americans.

"I don't care who you voted for in the last election or who you're voting for in the next election," Harris said.

The Democratic presidential nominee addressed those who are recovering from Hurricane Helene and advised them not to "listen to anything or anybody that's trying to make you more afraid than you already are because of what has happened," before reassuring them that "there are federal resources you are entitled to receive without condition."

Harris also warned companies considering price gouging -- which airlines, gas stations, and hotels have been accused of -- that the federal government is watching and monitoring them, and there will be consequences.

        • Hey Griffey, can you explain what a "Biden Circle" is?

This clown should be looking at memory care facilities, not the WH

            • 30 minutes into a Town Hall, and after a couple of medical emergencies among the attendees(?), TFG abruptly stopped taking questions and just danced to music for 39 minutes. Weird.

After multiple interruptions, Donald Trump cut off questions and seemed to decide that it would be more enjoyable for all concerned — and, it appeared, for himself — if he fired up his campaign playlist.

                  • What does ukraine have to do with what hurricane victims receive?
If you are pointing out how much better than Trump, the Biden admin has been with hurricane response, you are wording it strange.
During his presidency, Donald Trump failed in both the preparation and disaster response to hurricanes, storms, and flooding and actively worsened conditions for Americans impacted by such weather events.  He failed to adequately prepare the country for hurricanes by leaving disaster response positions open months into his term. After Trump’s FEMA botched the response to […]

Yes, there were multi billion dollar damaging hurricanes under Trump, and yes, his response was not nearly as strong as Biden team response.

                      • Sleepy Don?

"A Trump adviser told The Shade Room producers that Trump was “exhausted and refusing [some] interviews."

Sounds like we have another elderly politician incapable of fulfilling the rigorous demands of being President due to declining health.

                            • Reading through the released Jack Smith case file shows just how corrupt, unhinged and hellbent on performing a coup the clown was just after the '20 election. Griffey's too stupid to understand this, for sure, but how anyone else can even think of voting for that traitor only proves they'll look past everything because they hate what he hates (i.e. blacks, browns & females). Racism and misogyny cure all.

                              • Musk bribing people in swing states with a $100 if they sign a pledge saying they support the 2nd amendment and register to vote is concerning. Both candidates have an absurd amount of money backing them, but the billionaires backing trump must really want to make sure the unrealized capital gains income loophole continues to make sure they pay next to no taxes while middle-class workers continue to foot the bills for this country. The wealth concentration has gotten so absurd (the top 1% control over 10x more wealth than the bottom 50%) and somehow all that ad money has convinced millions of relatively poor Americans that a modest tax restricted to only those making over $100 million that would still leave them paying less as a percentage than many poorer Americans is a big threat to capitalism. And despite this, we have about half of all union workers supporting trump/musk, as they laugh about abusing and firing workers who won't commit to working more for less. It boggles the mind.
