All or nothing referendums are total and utter bullshit. That such a massive decision can be made by such a narrow margin is scandalous ... not to mention the brazen lies and manipulations that dominated the campaign. Most of the tards voting Leave did not have a clue what they were voting for.

Also pretty funny that Scotland were the strongest Remain vote region, and they are one of the most underrepresented region on the petition map:
With the SNP angling to use the Brexit turmoil to have another referendum almost immediately, that in itself brings the legitimacy of the referendum into view ... people were not being asked to vote on the break up if the UK. Scotland will 99.9% vote for independence in the wake of Brexit ... EU membership was a huge issue at last years vote.

Though blaming globalisation is kinda pointless. Globalisation is an unavoidable condition of modern capitalism. I wouldn't say it's a matter of wealth being directed upwards, more that wealth is on the one hand being sucked out of society by the tsunami of purchasing (almost every major UK business is now in the hands of foreign / offshore ownership ... making Brexit even more stupid), and on the other, the mass of virtual currency to accommodate this. One of neo-liberalisms great innovations is preventing too much of this "printed" virtual money from ever escaping into the general economy and creating hyperinflation. That combined with lower lower and lower interest rates.
Basically invent money from thin air, buy everything, make sure the money only circulates in the "1%" to prevent an inflationary crisis. Lather rinse repeat until everything is consumed. It's a massive scam.
This is why the 99% occupy movement were so naive ... they were talking about redistributing this "wealth". Redistributing debt ... great idea Moonbeam. The whole point of neo-liberalism is to prevent this wealth from seeping out. Of course this debt bubble will explode spectacularly sometime in the future ... and take civilization down with it. Only a question of when. The longer it takes for the collapse the worse it will be, especially since there appears to be a triple whammy of overpopulation, environmental destruction and economic collapse all seeming to converge sometime in the mid/late 21st Century.
I don't see that anything can or will be done about this. We can only hope the collapse happens sooner rather than later (like now, and no bailouts). I dont know what the economic or sociological impact is in the UK to the Polish. That said, the example of given regarding the Polish seem to undermine the idea that its just all about the brown people.
