It's amazing that Calvin Johnson has almost 1900 yds receiving and just FIVE TDs.

He has been taken down 6 times at 1 yard line. I believe a few others inside 5 too.

Most likely he can be. Looks like he is finally putting it together this year.
Bob- I'm not exactly sure it would ROCK as you say it Byron.. it may be cool, by typical text book descriptions. Your opinion of this is shallow and poorly constructed, but allow me to re-craft your initial thought into something tangable.

Steelers suffer their fifth 3 point loss of the season, and drop to 7-8, thus ending their wild card hopes. Second week in a row that the game ends with a Roethlisberger INT leading to the winning field goal for the opponent. As bad as their record is, i really don't think that they have too many holes to fill for next year. Just have another solid draft to add depth and keep everyone healthy.

The Seahawks have been as hot as any team I can recall. They are just dominating the Niners tonight.

This could be one of the greatest rookie classes in NFL history. Russell Wilson deserves not only the rookie of the year award, but merits serious MVP consideration, and he could very well finish anywhere in the top 5 for the rookie award.

                        ???

The Seahawks have beaten Dallas, New England, Minnesota, Green Bay, Chicago and now San Francisco this year. Frankly, they've beaten all the playoff caliber teams on their schedule this season, save one game vs SF.

I exited the conversation, but if you must revive it - the Seahawks have beaten up on visiting opponents and bad road teams, neither of which are going to see in the offseason (well, the Bears have a chance to make it; the Seahawks played them at maximum freefall and stole one).

I'm not sure I would tout the Packers "win" at home, either, unless that same officiating crew is welcomed back as grand marshals in a parade.

Nothing against Wilson, who has been terrific, but running up the score on teams that don't care doesn't get me excited about a team's playoff chances.

They were so good tonite against a QB with about 4 starts that if they were at home again in that spot against a similar playoff team, I'd take them in a heartbeat.

I realize the Seahawks have only been terribly lopsided in 30 years or so of home/road football, so no reason to consider the site of the games.

Based on your analysis, if you'll give me a mere 7 pts against the hapless Cowboys or Redskins in Week 18, I might have to consider it!

Are they a great road team? Maybe not earlier in the year. Are they now? Hell, I wouldn't want to see them show up in my stadium. Every road game they lost was by less than a TD. And that was before they "clicked."

These Niners "don't care?" I think every team cares, they just can't do anything about it.

No matter the theory, I wouldn't want to face Seattle anywhere the next few weeks.
