Good, I can finally stop watching this joke of a league, the one in which we pay obscenely strong men millions of dollars to inflict punishing hits on each other, yet at the same time penalize them for doing just that.If DMT didn't exist we would have to invent it. What's surprising to me is how much harsher this is then the Spygate punishment. Not that it shouldn't be, but is does surprise me.

League must be so upset that their big news is overshadowed by the Tebow deal they were probably informed about minutes before they hit the button on the suspension announcement.

I think the NFL is right to go over the top with this one. Nice to know that literally killing someone with a car carries the same sentence in the NFL as putting a bounty up for hitting a guy on the field. wtg Goodell.
Edit to add: But actually, I guess Greg Williams' sentence is more harsh than life-taker Donte Stallworth's. Donte only got a year suspension.Comment

Williams may want to hope his penalty is perceived as overly harsh.
