This year, Eli

Before that, Drew Brees

QB's on par or better than Eli currently:
- Aaron Rodgers
- Drew Brees
- Ben Roethlesberger
- Philip Rivers
- Tom Brady
- Peyton Manning (if he's able to come back)
Does Cam Newton deserve to be there? Look at what he did this year, possibly.
I'm not saying Eli hasn't come into his own, or that he's not a top five QB, but let's have some perspective.
Side note: If two Super Bowl rings gets you into the HoF, is Big Ben a lock?
Two Super Bowls aside, don't forget Eli threw for nearly 5,000 yards this season.
Rivers may have been more highly regarded than Eli prior to this season, but his incredibly bad regression ended that talk. Big Ben? Perhaps, but again, Eli blew him away this year. And Peyton will be 36 this year, and after his injury, I seriously doubt anyone would say he's better than Eli. Do you think Peyton has a 5,000-yard year in him? I'm not sure, but I wouldn't bet on it.
I'd say Rodgers, Brees and Brady are superior, and Stafford & Newton as major up-and-comers, but that's gotta be pretty much it.
