  • Only two guys showed up for me yesterday. No way I deserved to make the playoffs losing my final 2 games. Good luck everyone. Another rebuilding year for me.
Bob- I'm not exactly sure it would ROCK as you say it Byron.. it may be cool, by typical text book descriptions. Your opinion of this is shallow and poorly constructed, but allow me to re-craft your initial thought into something tangable.

    • so before everyone goes away for the winter, I'm still awaiting votes on if trading future year draft picks should be allowed.

Currently it stands as 3 against (revo, griswold, frae), 1 for (sea dog).

For it, but needs to be limited. Maybe just 1 future draft pick.

        • I will say FOR. I dont like it but with just being able to trade for 3 keepers per team, there wont be much incentive to dump.
After former Broncos quarterback Brian Griese sprained his ankle and said he was tripped on the stairs of his home by his golden retriever, Bella: “The dog stood up on his hind legs and gave him a push? You might want to get rid of that dog, or put him in the circus, one of the two.”

Thanks for the beat down, Keith. My 150.78pts this week was the highest weekly score that resulted in a loss. Previous high was revo is Week 2 (141.92).

That's a damn good question....the way Steve Smith has been sucking...I might....but in a PPR it's tough to bench a top WR.

I know what I'd do, go with the more consistent option. Tough to argue with what Lynch has done the last 5 weeks (21.3, 27.7, 16.9, 20.1 & 26.8). His lowest scoring week was in Week 11 at STL (16.9pts). I'm just glad that you have to make that decision. My big decision this week is whether I should start A. Brown or M. Austin at WR2. Good luck my friend.

                  • There's nothing spelled out in the league Constitution but what is the generally accepted rule about FA pickups for non-playoff teams? Since it is a keeper league, are we still allowed to try and better our team for next year? I don't want to impact the playoff teams but, at the same time, I still want to improve my team if I can for next year.

My feeling is non-playoff teams can make moves but still have to adhere to legal roster requirements. Meaning, you can't drop your PK, DEF, TE, if it's your only one, to take a chance on a QB, WR, RB, TE type.

I'm not asking to be a loophole lawyer type (ie; if it's not spelled out that I can't do it, then it means I can). Just asking what everyone thinks...any thoughts?

Good luck to the playoff teams!

I think that your take on the subject is pretty similar to my thinking. If there is a guy that I think is a legitimate keeper for next year, I'd go for it. Obviously I'm not sure how many guys out there right now are worth an 8th round pick next year but you never know.

                      What are others thoughts?

Yeah, I agree....however, I may end up benching Sproles....now that Ingram is healthy again....Sproles isn't seeing the touches he once was.

Yeah, I'm good with this....we allow this in our keeper leagues.

This is a good reason why there probably should be a consolation round rather than the season just end on Week 13. This way, you'd play for your draft spot and need to field a full team. Maybe that should also go up for a league vote.
