Conley still a 1st rounder after the rape allegations? No way.

Wow...preface this by saying I dont follow the run-up to the draft at all, but as someone who watches a lot of ACC football, I am surprised to see Deshaun Watson profiling in the first round. Maybe it's the Dak Prescott thing.

Agree. Don't think there's any way the Panthers take a TE at 8, either.

But overall, this looks like a solid effort. I'll be tracking it tonight, and REALLY hope you're right about Watt.

There are no first round QB this year. That's why I only put four in the round. Seriously, if he was not a QB, he would grade third round.

With Carolina it's how far can OJ Howard slide? He's a top 5 talent in many books.

On Conley, he's vehemently denying the accusation. While he did have a police interview and gave a DNA sample, he also has witnesses supporting his story. The teams will have done indepth investigation. As of now I am treating it as slander. If he falls out of the first round, I may believe it. If he falls out of day 2, then I was wrong.

          Here is a no-Conley version

          1. Cleveland Browns - Myles Garrett, DE Texas A&M
          2. San Francisco 49ers - Solomon Thomas, DE Stanford
          3. Chicago Bears - Jonathan Allen, DT Alabama

          8. Carolina Panthers - O.J. Howard, TE Alabama

Conley at #24. He may have slipped a bit.

Word is that he passed a polygraph.

QB trades will really mess up your board. I did not see the Chiefs moving up 17 picks. The Texans moved up 13 picks right behind them. For the record, but paid a discounted price.

Allen must be more injured than draftnicks knew. Shoulder and back problems are inherently serious.

This is a silly trade. Why would Chicago trade up one pick for someone who is going to be there at #3? Especially giving up a pair of thirds like that. In a draft this deep? Turrible.

With Kizer AND Zach Cunningham there at #27? I thought I knew you jayhawk. The Chiefs are a VALUE ORIENTED TEAM. VALUE. ORIENTED. There's no way they would trade up to make such a reach.

I've been talking to Texans fans for weeks and they are insistent they aren't drafting Watson. He flat out does not fit their vertical offense. He doesn't have the arm to make it work. They aren't drafting Watson at #25 let alone giving up a first round pick to trade up for him. And what, now Cleveland is going to own Houston's first AND second round picks in 2018? For noodle armed Watson? No siree.

I used to think corner was a possibility for Baltimore too, but after signing Brandon Carr, I have been convinced they don't need one anymore. At least not in the first round. They have holes the size of Rhode Island on their offensive line and if they miss out on the first round WR's, they would likely go that route or an edge rusher.

If they take him, I think everyone is going to really rail on what would be a very good pick and a great team fit. We'll have to see.

I could see the trade happening, but all rumors point to Jordan Willis. Also, there is talk McKinley could fall out of the first round due to injury. Just the same, I wouldn't be opposed to it if I were a Falcons fan. He seems like an articulate, polite, well composed young man.

I dunno. Looking at Dallas' draft history this century, they seem to prefer defensive backs in the first round and waiting until round 2 to draft a pass rusher. They are rumored to be very interested in Obi Melifonwu and you still have him on the board at this point.

So you think Cleveland is going to have THREE first rounders and somehow manage to not draft a quarterback. That's insane.

I dunno. It makes sense, but ahead of Reuben Foster and Zach Cunningham? Who is going to replace Lawrence Timmons?

There is no way he falls this far. The dude is a top ten talent. Can you honestly think of a linebacker projected to go in the top ten who fell out of the top 30 even due to injury? It just doesn't happen.

It's possible with Zach Strief's age, but they need so much help on defense, it would be a surprise to see them draft an offensive lineman in the first round again. Also, would the Giants and Seahawks really pass on Ramcyzk? Both need offensive tackle help badly.

This is a bad mock draft J, and you should feel bad for writing it. :lol

I really like the T.J. Watt first round pick at #30 for the Steelers. Watt switched from TE to OLB last year and dominated in his first season at the new position. He pretty much excelled on just raw talent alone. I know he will need more than raw talent in the pros. But, the Steelers should be able to bring him along slowly and prepare him for a larger role in 2018.

And Pittsburgh fans are really loving the third round pick of hometown favorite RB James Conner from Pitt. Not that the Steelers need any help with ticket sales.

But they did get a QB - in the Second . Really like there draft so far.

Here's hoping Hue is the QB whisperer they say he is.

Actually, the QB whisperer is Andy Reid. He's the one that moved up 17 picks to draft Mahomes.

Sean Payton said after the draft that if Lattimore wasn't available at 11 that the Saints would have taken Mahomes. I think that KC suspected that, which is why they traded up to 10.
