DeSean Jackson - Out with shoulder boo-boo. Should be back by week 1. Boom or bust as always. Specializes in long-hauls (40+ yarders). No hit on his value IMO.

Aldon Smith - Should be locked up and the key thrown away for stupidity alone.

CJ Spiller had arthroscopic knee surgery and will miss the remainder of the pre-season. He still should be ok for week 1.

Kevin White has a stress fracture in his shins and may miss the entire 2015 season. Ouch.

Chris Johnson signs with Arizona. 1 year, $2 million. May cut in to Ellington's production a bit but IMO the main takeaway is that David Johnson will be pretty much worthless this year and one or both of Stepfan Taylor and Kerwynn Williams will be cut.

This is why all serious FFLs should wait until after the Week 3 pre-season game for any major roster decisions.

Whatever. We always auction 2 weeks before Labor Day and have keepers due a week before that. When the league was founded, everyone played in multiple leagues already (and most still do), so we picked a standing date that we knew would never conflict with everyone's other leagues.

And, as you know from RJPFP, I am abroad on business for much of the time between the Week 3 preseason games and the start of the season.

So, while we'd love everything to be planned perfectly, life gets in the way.
