PLAYOFFS - no one had clinched a spot yet* This is the first time since 1979 in a non-strike year that no team had clinched a playoff berth with three weeks to play (exception was 1982 strike year).

ignoring ties angles (*only a DAL-PHI tie prevents the ARI clincher):

      - NEP win division with W; 1st rd bye with W and Ls by IND and PIT plus CIN or DEN; get playoff spot with L and Ls by BUF and CIN/PIT/BAL/HOU, CIN/PIT/KC/SD, or HOU/KC/SD/BAL

      - DEN win division with W; 1st rd bye with W and Ls by IND/CIN/PIT; get playoff spot with L and Ls by MIA/HOU + Ls by CIN/PIT, BAL/CLE, or BAL/PIT

      - IND win division with W

      - GBP in playoffs with W and DAL L

      AFC
      Patriots 10-3
      Bengals 8-4-1
      Colts 9-4
      Broncos 10-3
      Wild card leaders: Chargers 8-5, Ravens 8-5, Steelers 8-5, Chiefs 7-6, Bills 7-6, Browns 7-6, Texans 7-6, Dolphins 7-6

      NFC
      Eagles 9-4
      Packers 10-3
      Falcons 5-8 (sigh)
      y-Cardinals 11-3
      Wild card leaders: Cowboys 9-4, Lions 9-4, Seahawks 9-4, 49ers 7-6

      CHASING BEST DRAFT PICKS
Bucs No 1, Jets No 5 right now

2-11 - Raiders, Titans, Jaguars, Buccaneers, Jets
      3-10 - Redskins
      4-9 - Giants
4-8-1 - Panthers (who are half-game out of division lead)

Loser of Titans-Jets may very well "win" 1st overall pick, as the other 2-11 teams all appear to still be trying and have at least one winnable game in their remaining schedules. Redskins doing their best to make a "charge."

Jadaveon Clowney had microfracture surgery and will miss some/most/all of next season.

Hmmm...guess Khalil Mack wasn't too bad of an option there.

Shoelace Robinson out for the rest of the season with a foot injury. He had been trending downward, but that sucks -- this was a nice breakout year for him. I'd assume he'll be the lead dog in the Jaguar backfield next season, but I think he needs a partner back there.

Rams don't allow a TD for 3rd straight game

good luck to the next 49ers head coach, he's gonna need it with that division.....

Hey, RG III looks pretty good. He replaced Colt McCoy after one series as McCoy's neck acted up after a long FG drive.

RG dove into end zone for apparent TD to end the 1st half, but review showed a slight bobble as he leaped to the pylon and he didn't regain possession before landing. Redskins went apeshit, Santana Moss tossed out of game and Garcon nearly followed him. Rookie DB Breeland also has two PFs in trying to bully Beckham. Team in disarray yet are clearly outplaying hapless Giants.

UPDATE: Instead of 17-7 Skins and taking the 2nd half kickoff, the two penalties have the Giants kicking off from the WASH 35. yes, really. So of course Giants do onside kick, and short-hopped kick doesn't land until Giants are in the scrum, and they recover the ball at the WASH 17. NYG still can't move ball in forward direction, though, so now it's 10-10 after FG.

Perfect day for Redskins fans, I suppose, as they had good RG flashes, outplay their rival, yet clinch last place for draft pick and sked purposes (though these teams will play either STL or SF and MIN or CHI, not a lot of difference).

What was supposed to be a battle of division contenders between Cincinnati and Cleveland was all Bengals 30-0!

It looks like the AFC North may come down to Cincinnati at Pittsburgh in week 17.

I won all three of my fantasy playoff games today to advance to the title game. Absolutely crazy. Two of them I can personally thank ODB for.

Beyond frustrated with fantasy football right now. Playing against the owner of Beckham & WAS decides not to cover him, which leads to 3 TDs. I started Jordy Nelson only to have him drop a probable 94 yard TD pass. Then my L. McCoy got vultured on 3 TD runs of 5 yards (Polk), 1 yard (Polk) & another from 1 yard out (Sproles)
                            14 Team 1/2PPR league (1 Keeper)

FF is vastly more about luck than Roto. It's just something you have to accept.
