Inspired by http://forum.rotojunkiefix.com/showt...his-week/page2 , luckyheel and I are in. Who else wants in? Draft rules below.
1) Contest runs for three weeks, week 14-16 (generally, fantasy football playoffs)
----Or week 14-17?
2) Everyone in the contest states one of their tough fantasy football lineup decisions and the scoring system. List up to 4 players competing for 1 starting spot. Or up to 4 players and you have to bench 1.
3) Don't include any Thu players in any tough decision. Deadline for stating your tough decision is Friday noon eastern time.
4) Everyone in contest makes their call on your starting lineup decision. Deadline for people giving advice is Sunday noon eastern time (1 hour before kickoff)
5) After the games, you get 1 point for every right call you make. (We determine right call based on the total points scored for the scoring system stated).
---Do you get 1 point on your own team's tough decision? I'll say no, since this is an advice contest(?)
---Or if my right call was someone with 80 yards rushing vs someone with 75 yards rushing, and your right call was someone with 150 yards rushing vs 20 yards rushing, do we factor this in? Or too complicated? Maybe 2 points if your call got twice the points as the next best guy?
6) Forget to submit a tough decision for the group during a week? Everyone else in the contest gets +1 point. If your fantasy football teams are out of the playoffs before week 16, tough, just pick a tough call that you'd have to make if your team was still playing.
7) Honor system: don't pick a tough theoretical call of players bunched together who aren't necessarily on your team. Pick a real decision from one of your teams.
Example: I might say: 1 pt for every 10 yard rush/rec, 6 pt per TD, not PPR. Bench one FLEX. Keenan Allen, Reuben Randle, Charles Sims, Jerick McKinnon. luckyheel says "Randle" and turns out to be right as Randle ends up scoring the least of the four players. luckyheel gets 1 point.
