    • 400 I would guess Babe Ruth, but that seems too obvious.

              Rogers Hornsby?

I assume the earliest one was Ross Barnes since he was from the 1870s and is a B(eotch).
More American children die by gunfire in a year than on-duty police officers and active duty military.

                  • They had so few ABs back then, though, that it's hard to imagine any of them getting to 200 in a season. I probably would have guessed Deacon White or maybe Al Spalding. Edit: Or Cap Anson.

                    • MLBtv is pissing me off. I was on a 24.99 monthly plan and they had a deal for 49.99 for the season. So I called up to switch and they said I had to cancel and call back when my monthly plan expired. Now they no longer offer 49.99 from what i can see, it is 89.99. it may save me from watching Lance McCullers implode, so not all bad I guess. Maybe I should take my money and build a spaceship and fly into orbit

Can't come up with a good B guess at the moment.
