  • It's mid July and I'm in 5th in PONY. Slight lead over CJ. Crushing Frae, but Hacko is holding on to first place right now.

Randy Jones (1976) is one. I bought his BBQ sauce while attending a game at the Murph in the late 90s.

This one I should have remembered, since the Royals stupidly signed him to a free agent deal that following winter.

And apparently Hoffman never won but finished second twice, in 1998 to Tom Glavine and in 2006 to Brandon Webb.

I think of him as a Giant, of course, and remember his stints with Indians and Rangers, but I had no memory of him as a Padre.

He was 6'4", so while that is tall, he's not really a giant. He was no Randy Johnson

                              • I loved him as an Indian - in 1972 when he won the cy young he had 29 complete games and in the 41 games he pitched in that season he either had the win - the loss - or the save. I remember listening to every game he pitched in that season
