VD 2 Rules Summary ... I can't see anything in the main rules that require changes.

KO's (see rule 14) WE ARE NOT USING KO's FOR VD10

15 Hitters / 12 Pitchers

15 and 12 ... I'll have to check and see why it was 15 and 12. There doesn't appear to be any strange additions to the rules, and KO's don't change the roster size.

Are we happy with 27 slots (15/12)?

Yeah ... we added the 2010's as a hitting decade and did not add an extra UTIL slot. As the drat has already started, we cannot change that now. So you are right with how this effects the value of 1870 hitters

No-one has picked an 1870 hitter yet, so good spot. I had missed that.

ONLY 14 HITTING SLOTS AND 15 ELIGIBLE HITTING DECADES ... in case anyone is looking at 1870's hitters.

We should have added an extra hitter and an extra pitcher slot.

There should be enough eligible players for the 1870's given that the previous decades draft had 15 participants. BUT do we want to do that? We could go 14 and 12 or even 14 and 11.

Seems pretty straight forward. I can't see anything else that's in play here. If there are no objections, I'll role with 15 hitters, meaning 1870's are in play.

Kidding, but honestly, there's gonna be a week where I will be either underwater or drunk and have spotty internet service. I'll probably turn the roaming off on my phone and go with the spotty island wifi at the "hotel" we are staying at. I will probably be a late with a few picks during that time (Oct 31 - Nov 8). There will be another week where I will be nearly as spotty (Week of Thanksgiving) but shouldn't be as drunk and I have more faith in the resort (cabo) wifi to be able to make picks in the evenings. If that's cool with everyone, I'm in, otherwise I can bow out.
