I honestly can't decide what's worse — the current ongoing collapse or the 12-odd straight potential-playoff-series-winning games they lost over the last decade or so.
The A's collapse and some tough series coming up for the Mariners...maybe just maybe my Indians slide into the wild card again!
Considering his only baseball post in the past year was bringing up a 3 year old thread to taunt Hornsby and he's never contributed a dime to our hatpass, perhaps?
Was always the concern with him, but the offense has been putrid too. Punto, Callaspo, Sogard, and Fuld are playing way too many games.
Agreed. Any offense that has to depend on Punto and Callaspo for any level of success is doomed. The only time Nick Punto has been valuable to anybody is when Ron Shandler paid $19 for him.
I realize that causation doesn't always follow correlation, but the offensive dive when Cespedes went is sure interesting.

Cespedes is overrated. He doesn't suck, but he's terribly overrated.
But chicks dig the long ball, and he was in the Home Run Derby!!
