Is it too early for a new bad trade offer thread?

I'm in a 10-team NL 5x5 and I am considering dumping. One team has a $5B Puig that I am interested in, and I said I'd be willing to give him a $16/2016 Freeman and another useful piece. (Unfortunately most of my really useful pieces are also good keepers so it's hard to make a big deal.) Here are his offers:
Votto ($41A) for Cishek ($5X), Fister ($17A), Parra ($11A), Roark ($10A) - he's also willing to include Frieri ($7A) for AJ Burnett ($2X).
Puig ($5B), Machi ($10A), Espinosa ($12A), JGarcia ($1A), Lambo ($5R) for Cishek, Fister, Parra, Roark, Freeman.
Cutch and Braun went for $48 in auction this year, so Votto has to be at most $5 under value, and I don't even think he is given his problems this year, so I have no idea what's up with the first offer. In the best of times, our days are numbered, anyway. And it would be a crime against Nature for any generation to take the world crisis so solemnly that it put off enjoying those things for which we were presumably designed in the first place, and which the gravest statesmen and the hoarsest politicians hope to make available to all men in the end: I mean the opportunity to do good work, to fall in love, to enjoy friends, to sit under trees, to read, to hit a ball and bounce the baby.

The 5th place team (top 4 get paid) offered:
Choo 26 Cespedes 23 Miller 1X Ackley 10 Gausman 1X
for my:
Singleton 1 JD Martinez 1 Cruz 11 Skaggs 2 EEscobar 6
I'm not sure what it is. Dump trade? He basically included all of my good freezes. He did not offer Kipnis, Reyes, CYoung who would actually help me. I simply replied "Need SB and SP", which I informed the league of weeks ago.

We have one-year keepers, so the Xs were frozen this year and therefore expire this year.

Everyone you're being offered is a clear upgrade from the players that you'd be dealing away, with the possible exception of Ackley, who's crap. But with only one year keepers, those contracts are essentially irrelevant IMO...
I need SP and SB so the trade really doesn't help me. Furthermore, I don't see how any of the offered players are upgrades over my guys. Cespedes has 0 HR in the past 28d and Choo is hitting .200. Gausman is not guaranteed a rotation spot going forward. It looks to me like he is trying to unload all his underperforming guys for 5 good freezes whom he can either flip or keep. That's why it's a bad trade offer.
JD Martinez 1 >> Choo 26
Cruz 11 >> Cespedes 23
EEscobar 6 > Miller 1X
Singleton 1 > Ackley 10
Skaggs 2 < Gausman 1X

He counters with Sandoval for Harper and Lohse.

Martinez, Cruz, and Escobar are all likely to experience regression to the mean, while Cespedes, Choo, and Miller will likely do the same in a positive manner. I see you as holding onto players who've had their best months, while ignoring players who've traditionally preformed much better than they currently have. I also don't see a 1 year keeper contract as having a great deal of value, no matter what place a team may be in. But it's your league, and you know the owners and parameters better...good luck.

I appreciate your opinions, guys. I do like Cespedes best of the bunch. Choo scares the bejesus out of me. He's in an 0-21 slump and hasn't done much for 2 months. Either the ankle or the big contract are affecting him. I don't see him as a player I can count on to rebound this year.
Also, this owner tried a similar move a year ago, telling me he was playing for 4th place but also playing for next year, trying to trade for my best freezes. The return was A-Rod and a $9 Tex, among others. He certainly isn't dumping, and you can't have your cake and eat it too. Also, I could keep my guys and still finish top 3. Pitching is my main need and this trade doesn't address it. I am 1st in RBI, 2nd in AVG, 3rd in HR.
