In this league, I have done early rebuilds from complete ashes, nothing of saved keeper value, because when I go for it I burn everything. And I have won the very next year. Horns did a nice purge and will be benefiting for years if he goes conservative route and lets farm develop, or he could win next year if he flips everything not bolted down.

If it takes so long to rebuild, why not revamp the rules?

Maybe they like it that way. I left the league in the mid-'00s when the rules evolved to place more emphasis on identifying minor league talent. That's not my thing, but everyone else seemed to be into it.
