I've been leaning towards extending Gomez three seasons, at $16 through 2017. However, I realized that his Brewers contract only runs through 2016. Should that impact my decision about the number of years?

I don't think it should. The fact that he'll be 31 or whatever, and that 3 year deals are very risky, would be a much bigger impact for me But what are the odds you actually keep him that whole time instead of trading him?

Not in my view. I agree with JC that it's about the risk of a three year deal and the extra $5 you'd have the next couple years.

No, I didn't deal for Corbin, as I'd rather Bumgarner than Corbin plus the Rox PT question marks. It felt more like a dump trade than a pre-auction deal.

That's eight keepers for $66, leaving me $224 to spend on 17 players at auction. It's going to be a wild ride...perhaps I'll jump back in and write an Anatomy recap this year.
