Brandon Belt is hitless over his last 12 at-bats.
Belt hasn't collected a hit since he hit his first major league home run last Friday, but Giants manager Bruce Bochy plans to keep running him out there. "I think he's seeing the ball well," said Bochy. "It's going to happen with this kid. It's his first time up here. We're going to be patient with him. He's going to figure it out. We're in the first week. We're not going to make any changes." It sounds like he'll keep playing as long as he's up in the big leagues, which is the way it should be, but the Giants may have to make a tough decision if he continues to struggle when Cody Ross returns from a calf injury.
