Stealing some info from the Paul Goldschmidt thread:
I think both HQ's projections and Davis' 2nd half stats are valid indicators of his future production. We don't know how much the Valley Fever impacted Ike, but we can see that he had a bad first half. Maybe his power was a little over the top in the second half, but he seems like a legit masher. Unfortunately, he still has to play in the Mets' lineup.
Put Davis down for .255-35-95-85r-2sb and I think you're in the ballpark.
2nd half stats:
Goldschmidt: .271/.351/.431...18 doubles, 8 HR's, 40 RBI, and 46 runs.
Davis: .255/.346/542...12 doubles, 20 HR's, 41 RBI, and 36 runs.
Goldschmidt: .271/.351/.431...18 doubles, 8 HR's, 40 RBI, and 46 runs.
Davis: .255/.346/542...12 doubles, 20 HR's, 41 RBI, and 36 runs.
HQ likes Goldy, 24-16, over Davis in NL 5x5, mainly due to extra 18 R and extra 12 SB.
