What the heck happened to Tabata? He was a hot fantasy commodity not that long ago.

Most people don't think he's as young as he says he is. If he really hit 299/346/400 as a 21-year old in 2010, then he should be a lot better than he is. In 2011 he took a lot more pitches (possibly the only Pirate to do so) but his BABIP declined and no one on the Pirates appreciated his .349 OBP. So last year he took less walks and his BABIP kept going down.

He hits an absolute ton of ground balls - over 61% the last 2 years - so he's always going to be dependent on luck. And he's gotten thicker since his call-up, so he's not beating them out like he used to. But I think he's a great flier at this point in the draft. He is behind Travis Snider in RF, but that's not exactly a massive obstacle.

The pick numbers and picks are all over the place and are now confusing me.When TS Garp made a selection I thought that I might be up in the next round and from the mis-labeled picks it was confusing.

While I am on the east coast I agree that West coast people should not time out because they did not make a pick before 9 am their time. If we use two hours we have to start it at 11 am east coast time.

That's fine, but what time does it start? I timed out before 9:00 AM west coast time (that's when I got a PM saying so, at least), which means the clock started running before 7:00 AM west coast? Seems kind of unfair to those of us in the pacific time zone.
