Trevor Bauer said Monday that he’ll open the season pitching for the Diablos Rojas of Mexico.

Bauer will face the Yankees in a scheduled exhibition game on March 24 and then will start in five regular-season games in Mexico, the last coming on May 8. He hopes to land with an MLB club afterwards.

How did you draft him when he wasn't on a MLB roster last year? He isn't in the Y! or ESPN universes this year.

Snell finally signed! The Giants nabbed him at the reasonable price of 62 mil for two years. The opt out after year one stings, since they lose a pick over it, but it is a great get for a team that has already improved a lot this offseason. A great landing spot for Snell, who I always assumed would end up on the West Coast. I'm hoping he only misses a couple of weeks before he is ready to go!

He's been available on Fantrax and NFBC. Current ADP around round 40 in a 15 team draft and hold.
